Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a catering partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We cannot thank enough Jonathan Dunn and his crew from Lavishly Dunn for putting together such an amazing menu to celebrate my 50th birthday with 100 guests. Everything was delicious!! We had for the cocktail hour the sushi station, the grilled flatbread pizzas and the charcuterie board. Then for the main course we had a mixed green salad, the taco bar and the wagyu beef petite burgers. And to conclude, we had for dessert the fun donut bar and the fresh fruit salad. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. Our guests kept complimenting the food. Every member of the team that came that day was so kind and professional. They took care of everything so we could enjoy the party. Thank you ...

Our main focus for our wedding was DELICIOUS food, and Lavishly Dunn completely delivered. Every guest commented on how delicious everything was, and how it wasn't the typical wedding fare, but true restaurant quality cuisine. There were a few logistical issues, but the owner Jonathan completely stepped up on the day of the wedding, and even bartended when he was short-staffed. Definitely recommend!

We got married during the pandemic, so we had many rules & things we could and could not do. Jonathan the owner came out to our location to really help us with our layout & plan. We know what we wanted it to look like, but many parts of the Wedding we did not know what to do. He suggested ideas in our backyard wedding. He helped from tables, to linens, to electrical setup & more. When it came to the food there were SO many items to choose from on the menu and that made it so great to have choices! His crew showed up and took care of all of the food & drinks & everyone raved about how amazing their food was! Every dish I saw looked beautiful. I ate everything on my plate & still talked to ev...

We had a great experience working with Lavishly Dunn for my client's outdoor event this fall! Cayla and her team were extremely communicative from the beginning and flexible with our budget and needs. The food was outstanding and guests really enjoyed the variety, especially the mac and cheese bites! I would definitely recommend hiring them for your next event.
