Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a photo & video partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Absolutely magical experience working with Sarah. We asked for photos that felt more like art than traditionally posed wedding shots so we could hang them in our home. Not only did she send us beautiful photos, but she essentially kicked off our unconventional wedding plans by suggesting the perfect, unknown spot for our wildflower wedding ceremony. Without her expertise and local recommendations, I don’t know how we would’ve pulled off this kind of wedding, on a small budget, in New England. She’s also downright cool and easy to be around, which made everything easier. Thank you, Sarah!!

Booking Sarah was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She made us feel at ease the whole time ( we are not photo people) and the images she created are beautiful. Through the whole process we felt heard and supported during what was a super stressful time in our lives. A year later we decided to get a custom wedding album that lets us relive our wedding day all over again. Thank you Sarah, for capturing not only the pictures but the feelings from our wedding day.

Hands down an incredible photographer. Booking Sarah for our wedding was without a doubt one of the best decisions my husband and I made when planning our wedding. We could tell from her portfolio of work that she had an incredible eye - and then meeting her in person we were so overjoyed to learn she is a fantastic human being as well! Sarah was so communicative, and so very very easy to work with! She has a real talent for getting people to relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera. She took time to get to know my partner and I and what we were looking for from our wedding photos. And WOW does it show. Our photos are such a beautiful exhibit of our wonderful wedding day and capture...

Sarah was by far one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Her energy is calm yet enthusiastic and exactly the kind of energy you want around you on your wedding day! She is such a cool person and took time to get to know us - even drove down from VT to our neighborhood in Boston to see where we like spending our time and chatted for an hour and half in person about photography and our wedding, but even more about who we are. This personal touch was incredible. And THEN we got the preview pictures (a few short days after the wedding) and have been staring at them ever since!!!! TALENTED and CREATIVE are two primary words I'd use to describe Sarah (along with kind and calm :) ). The ...

My husband and I have endless kind things to say about Sarah. As a photographer, she can take a photo that not only makes you feel but also has outstanding composition. The balance of emotion and creativity in her photos is what drew us to her. As a person, she is just such a wonderful human. Kind, patient, and when you talk to her, you can tell she is truly listening and cares. We couldn't recommend Sarah more.
