Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Lakefalls is truly one of the most breathtaking venues in New England. The property feels like a serene retreat tucked away in nature, yet it offers all the luxury and charm you’d hope for in a wedding setting! From the stunning walled garden ceremony space to the warm and inviting lodge itself, every corner is picture-perfect and thoughtfully maintained. The owner, Don, is wonderful to work with - attentive, kind and dedicated. Guests can relax and enjoy the beauty of the grounds while couples get to feel like they’re in their own private world for the weekend. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines natural beauty, privacy, and elegance, Lakefalls is an absolute gem. I cannot r...

This place is a true paradise for weddings, romantic getaways, or family weekends. Surrounded by nature and with a privileged view of the lake, it offers a peaceful and safe atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy. The cabins are cozy, clean, and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Among the most recommended activities is canoeing on the lake, a relaxing experience that lets you admire the scenery from the water. There’s also a perfect trail for light hiking, offering breathtaking panoramic views, especially at sunset when the sky turns warm golden and pink tones. At night, the starry sky is simply magical — perfect for stargazing lovers or for enjoying quiet moments of reflectio...

We had our winter wedding at Lakefalls Lodge and it was the best decision we made. From the moment we visited the venue we fell in love with it and knew it would be the perfect place for our wedding. Don was incredibly helpful and easy to work with and made the whole experience amazing. We rented the whole property for the weekend, were able to have our family and friends stay with us on property in the lodge and cabins which were all beautiful and exceeded our expectations. This made it feel like a peaceful retreat and such a unique, incredible experience. We plan on returning to Lakefalls soon to rent one of the cabins on the property. We would highly recommend using Lakefalls for a weddin...

While photographing at this venue, I was met with an exceptionally professional team. Everything finishing earlier than expected, the day had a seamless flow of events and happy faces. Meeting the venue owner Don just before ceremony time was surely a highlight of mine. Watching the ceremony from afar, he stated he always tries to make an appearance to congratulate the couple, shaking my hand wishing me luck as it was time to start photographing. The more we explored the property, the more I fell in love. The amount of photo opportunities here are endless. The well-kept grounds, vast lakes, waterfall feature, strong stone walls, beautiful bridge…jaw dropping! Ensuring you a beautiful galler...

I photographed a wedding at Lakefalls Lodge last weekend and it was absolutely beautiful even though it was raining all day. My clients weren't at all phased by it and we made the very best of it. Lakefalls is an incredible venue a with fantastic staff and I'd LOVE to shoot there again.

Getting here

How far is this from home?

Pick the city you and most of your guests will be driving from and we will estimate the trip.

An estimate for planning, not live traffic. Leafy weekends in October always take longer.
