Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a catering partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Kitchen chicks are awesome! We had them for husband's 50th birthday in our home. The staff were professional, kind, and efficient. The food was outstanding. They were in and out seamlessly and really made the gathering top notch. We will definitely use them again in the future! Photo of butternut squash soup shooters with a grilled cheese triangle on top. These were served as passed hors d'ouevres. So delicious and fun!

We had catering arranged for about 30 people and Kitchen Chicks crushed it! They delivered everything off ahead of schedule and our delivery guy was super kind. Loved the food, especially the fruit salad with mint. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Five days ago, I called to ask this company to do a lunch for a very important customer. I was promised a return call. I followed up two days later after not getting a response, only to be told once again "we'll get back to you". Now five days later, and still no response. All they had to do was to tell me last week that they were too busy for me. Now I have to scramble to try to find another vendor.

I can't begin to describe how awesome Kitchen Chicks is!! My company was have a small picnic and we needed catering. I reached out to multiple places. I was either told they weren't available or they never got back to me. Our event was on a Thursday and Tuesday before my event, I ended up getting in touch with someone at Kitchen Chicks. They were able to create a menu, accommodate our Gluten and Dairy allergies, and delivered it to us on that Thursday. The food was AMAZING and not a single person had anything bad to say. It also was sooo much food! We are so grateful for them being able to pull something together for us. Thank you Catie and team at Kitchen Chicks!

Hired them for a special night while on vacation in Kennebunk. They helped create a great menu! They showed up on time, and prepared a beautiful dinner. The family thought everything was delicious! They served and cleaned up. An incredibly special treat! We also went into their shoppe in Cape Porpoise - and picked up the prepared foods for other nights! Delicious Delicious! Highly recommend!

How far is this from home?

Pick the city you and most of your guests will be driving from and we will estimate the trip.

An estimate for planning, not live traffic. Leafy weekends in October always take longer.
