Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a hair & beauty partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I recently had the pleasure of having my makeup done by Johanna for my son and daughter in law’s wedding. She made us all feel like our most beautiful and glamorous selves! She’s an expert at highlighting individual beauty and letting the joy of the day and occasion shine through! I’d love to work with her again, and look forward to it! Thank you for being a part of this special day! ❤️

Jo was fantastic at my brother’s wedding. The makeup she did for me was absolutely perfect, natural but gorgeous. She was lovely, professional, and great fun!

I had the best time at my make-up trial and loved my look…when it came to the day-of I asked Johanna to tweak it a bit and not only did she make the adjustment, she knocked it out of the park!! I’ve never felt so confident and beautiful…a feeling that lasted all night. Not one touch-up needed. The second pic attached is what my makeup looked like at almost 1am after a magical and loooong night dancing and putting the look through its paces…1am and it still looked flawless. Johanna is an artist in her own right and worth every every penny. Remember, you eat the food/desserts one time, but you’ll enjoy those photos and beautiful make-up over & over every time and be ever thankful you made the ...

I have been getting my hair done by Cassie for almost 2 years now. She moved to a new salon and I HAD to follow her. Let me tell you... this salon is gorgeous!! The prices are more than fair and the results are stunning as you can see! Cassie is an absolute doll, she is VERY attentive, pays attention to detail and makes sure you leave that chair feeling nothing less than fabulous. I will follow her wherever she goes but I do hope she stays at this beautiful salon! Thank you Cassie!!!

I just got married and had the extreme pleasure of working with Johanna! Not only did I feel like the most beautiful bride, but all of my bridesmaids felt and looked absolutely stunning!! I have known Jo for a few years now, and I remember the first time I met her and saw her work, I KNEW right then she would one day do my wedding makeup! Conversation with her flows so easily, and I enjoyed every minute of the time spent with her! I will recommend her over and over again 🖤
