Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Stayed here for the first time when visiting a friend and her family who live in Derby. The room at Stateside was sufficient, and once we got the lay of the land the property didn’t seem so sprawling. We walked to dinner at clubhouse grill and had a tasty dinner with great service. We didn’t opt to partake in water park activities but we experienced the aerial tram thanks to Tyler, guest services at the front desk of Stateside Sunday August 1st. Tyler was really friendly and when I inquired about tickets for the tram he walked back to our car as we were checking out and gave us a voucher for the family since it was our first time at Jay. That kind of guest experience is so special and ma...

The drive from Massachusetts was long, but it was scenic so that was nice. Our room refrigerator was broken, which wasn’t anybody’s fault, but all of our food went bad. The hotel manager was amazing and gave me a gift card which was more than enough for what was lost. The pool area was nice for the kids. Again, the view was amazing. It was beautiful. Would I go again? Probably not a while. It was nice. It is something that was great to experience once but there’s not enough there to wanna go again in my opinion.

We are here in the office season for a hockey tournament. Beautiful place, with lots of things for the kids to do between ice times. Golf, indoor water park, outdoor pool, arcade, Frisbee golf, mini golf, hiking, movie theater, gondola rides, shuttle services for getting around the resort and more. Fantastic experience for young and old. I would love to see it in the peak of skiing season.

Another great ski trip in the books! It was my first time to Jay Peak and it was wonderful. They had a nice variety of terrain, tons of on site lodging options and non skiing family friendly activities. Overall, the terrain was a little more advanced but had a few short trails for beginners. Several long blue runs and a few groomed black runs in addition to many more difficult mogul black runs. Lots of glades areas if that is your cup of tea. The resort was big enough that you had plenty to explore for a few days and also if you went with a group it wasn’t so huge that it was impossible to meet up or find friends if you took an accidental detour. We opted for a package and it was reasonable...

This is a great resort that has everything closely located around you. We came here from Canada for a hockey tournament in the summer time. We stayed in the local cabins and had full access to everything closely located around, rink, waterpark, golf course multiple restaurants, shops and other activities. It was great for the family and kids and everything is continently located.
