Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

If you remember eating at Howard Johnsons as a kid and you're looking for retro vibes, this is the place. Unfortunately the restaurant no longer exists, but the hotel is clean and neat and very quirky. Lots of orange. Nice spacious rooms. Oddly, no air conditioning in my room, but I could open the windows quick was nice. A really fun hotel to spend the night in. They do have a breakfast bar in the morning with coffee, tea, yogurt, bagels, muffins, and breakfast sandwiches you can microwave. There's an ice machine, gym, plenty of parking. Friendly staff. I loved the whole vibe.

The decorations and set up of the guest rooms and the public spaces were fun (without being overwhelming) and well thought-out. Everything was very clean , comfortable, and well-cared for. We were not expecting this level of quality for the price. It was a wonderful stay!

The person who greeted us just now, I spoke with on the phone a little earlier and was so kind to my partner and I when checking in. It made me want to write a review the second we got to our room. For one, the room is very exceptionally clean and comfortable. The price was a great value especially being that the condition of the hotel is so great! Again, what really impressed us was the incredible service from the front desk attendant on 1/1/26. Possibly a manager behind the desk. He reminded me that a little bit of connection and humor go a very long way when working with guests. If you’re reading this, come visit Waitsfield! Thank you for passing along a smile!

Been staying here for 2 weeks. Worst breakfast at any hotel i've ever been at. Guess bring weed in the room that stinks the whole hotel up. And people's car, alarms go off 30 times every night. Call the front desk about it six times and they won't do anything about it or care. Never stay here
