I was wondering why it was so reasonably priced for a Hilton in a prime Boston location. I come at 1pm and they try to get me to pay $50 extra a night for a room upgrade to get an early check in. I say no that’s fine I’ll come back at 3pm when regular check in is. I come back at 4pm and they say the room isn’t ready? Apparently a large group checked out and they were still cleaning rooms. They gave me $50 voucher for their restaurant (do not recommend the ragu… because it was free I won’t leave a review at the restaurant but I’d be annoyed spending $34 on the pasta I got) and tell me to use the app for when the room is ready. The app tells me I have to check with the front desk. 5pm and 6pm...

There's nothing wrong with this hotel. Overall, if you're on a budget like I was and need one of the micro stamp sized rooms, it's not a bad place to sleep for the night, but the room is extremely small. Do not think that two people will fit in there comfortably. The hotel staff was very accommodating. The food and the bar service was great. However, the elevators were always really dirty like trash on the floor. No one seems to be minding them. Other than that the location was great. I was able to walk all over downtown, get to a lot of great restaurants and attractions very easily. The area felt safe and Boston was absolutely beautiful this time of year.

Do not waste your money here! It is an old hotel that needs updating! Our room, 15th floor, smelled like fish....gross! We asked to have someone come take a look. They showed up with a very heavy chemical deodorizer which was so strong we had to leave the room. 3 hours later we come back and the smell is still there. Plus we reserved a king bed but got a queen!! We tried to call contact the management about the issue but got NO RESPONSE!! I've been a loyal Hilton member for years, but this experience is making me rethink my choices in hotel properties! EDIT: A manager did finally reach out to us about our room and was very apologetic. We got switched to another room which had no fish smell. ...

This is a beautiful hotel located in a great part of town. The entrance and facilities and very clean and nice. We had a very quick and easy checkin experience. Front staff was helpful and also provided free bottles of water which was nice. The rooms ( or our room atleast) are dated and VERY small. I could hear the next door people's conversations word for word. Also the bathroom was tiny so if you are a bigger person you might not fit into the shower. However, we knew what we were getting into since description for room said "wicked small room" so overall happy with experience and staff was very friendly Would stay again but would book a bigger room.

Rooms were very outdated. Tub had chips and the water pressure in the shower was horribly light. Took forever to shower to get all the soap off cuz of how light the water pressure is. The bathroom door is in desperate need of being fixed. Everytime you open and close the door it stuck, so you have to yank it open/closed. Which was horrible in the middle night because it was so loud it would wake everyone up. Pillow cases were dirty. I will say the view was great and beds were comfortable. Service could have been better. When I checked in, no one told me that I got a $15 per day travel credit to use at the hotel restaurant so I missed out on that opportunity.
