Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Lovely hotel with great service. Restaurant had great food. Pool was nice. Our room was lovely and we have a wonderful view of the harbor. They have a very nicely equipped workout room and a family laundry facility. Only thing that wasn’t great was how big the hotel was so it took at least five minutes or more to get to the lobby where the 24 hour coffee bar and munchie counter were. Also one thing to know about Bar Harbor is that it is VERY crowded and it is very hard to find parking and there are no Ubers. Taxis take an hour to show up. IF you have any mobility issues this is not the town for you. BUT the hotel was absolutely beautiful. Pics below of the view from our room - one with fog a...

Excellent hotel! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms and hotel are in excellent condition and very clean. The location is steps to downtown, cruise attractions and a 5 min drive to Acadia. We stayed here with our 8 and 11 year old boys. They loved the pools and hot tubs!

You get what you pay for. Awesome location walking distance from anything downtown. Every staff member I encountered was polite and helpful. Great hotel room with an awesome view of the water. Grounds well kept and pool and hot tub clean as well. Great experience in every aspect.

We loved our recent stay at this delightful resort! This is our second visit and was just as magical as we remembered. The location is perfect for exploring all Bar Harbor has to offer from the stunning hikes of Acadia to the shoreside path and the town itself. Aside from getting to the park, we were able to enjoy everywhere on foot. The staff is excellent and the facilities are well maintained. We loved this place and will return again. It is our favorite place to stay when visiting Bar Harbor. Don't hesitate to book here- you will love it too!!

Our stay at Harborside Hotel was everything we had hoped it would be. We were well taken care of from the moment we drove up to the front door. We were eagerly met at our car. The car was taken care of by the valet and our luggage was delivered to our room promptly. The front deck/register staff were extremely helpful and kind. Our room was magnificent. It had a great view of the harbor. Our room was very well maintained and cleaned every day. Restaurants and uptown Bar Harbor is all just steps away. We would highly recommend Harborside Hotel for a nice comfortable, relaxing stay.
