Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Choosing Hampshire House as our venue was the first decision and best decision we made for our June 7, 2025 wedding. We wanted a smaller, intimate venue to host less than 100 guests, and we knew this was the place as soon as we stepped inside. It is the perfect mixture of elegance, charm, and history, set conveniently right downtown with views of the Public Garden. We had an exceptional experience with the event team—Victoria helped us with every little detail from start to finish, including making sure the beautiful fireplace was on to create the coziest atmosphere when the day turned stormy. We had to shift all photos inside due to the weather—thankfully, every corner of this venue is ...

We hosted our wedding at Hampshire House in April 2026, and I recommend them to everyone looking for a venue in Boston! First, the location is excellent. Being right on Beacon Street across from the Public Garden gives you a classic Boston setting that makes logistics and photography incredibly straightforward. Huge props to Michele and the entire staff. They were exceptionally professional and very easy to work with from day one. Michele was always on top of things, whether we were finalizing seating diagrams, handling all last minute requests, or just getting quick, clear answers on financial breakdowns for deposits and rentals. They also stepped up to help run our Friday rehearsal, whi...

We had such a beautiful rehearsal dinner and reception at the Hampshire House! The space was everything we wanted, the food and drink were excellent, and the service was professional. So many members of our wedding party complimented the food from our rehearsal dinner and the Hampshire House was able to quickly flip the space afterwards to accommodate our pre-wedding reception of 120 guests. During the event, the staff made sure everything from the music to the passed appetizers was flowing smoothly and the whole event went off without a hitch.

The Hampshire House was love at first sight for me! The venue is stunning and everything I had envisioned for our intimate wedding. As the planning process began Sydney made every step clear and easy to complete. She really understands the wedding industry as a whole and helped guide us through the process. When the wedding day came the staff was amazing and beyond accommodating. Sydney made it possible for us to actually enjoy our day which I am truly grateful for. I highly recommend using the Hampshire House as your wedding venue.

We celebrated my daughter's bridal shower at The Hampshire House and couldn't have been happier! What a beautiful location and venue plus the food was outstanding (not to mention the presentation) and the staff was AMAZING! From our initial appointment with Sydney to the actual day, it was a fantastic and memorable experience! I would highly recommend! Thank you!!

How far is this from home?

Pick the city you and most of your guests will be driving from and we will estimate the trip.

An estimate for planning, not live traffic. Leafy weekends in October always take longer.
