Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a hair & beauty partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

From the moment I stepped into the salon for my initial consultation, I knew I was in capable hands with Allie. During our first consultation, she took the time to understand my vision. We discussed styles, preferences, and even the tiniest details. Her attention to detail put me at ease—I knew she was committed to making my dream hairstyle a reality. We quickly moved into the hair trial where her expertise and creativity shone through as she transformed my hair. On the big day, she arrived at the venue with her tools and a smile. She recreated the exact hairstyle we’d perfected during the trial. It was like magic—the curls cascaded elegantly, the pins held everything in place, and I felt ut...

Love Hair Republic for the great location, cool girl vibes and Bumble and Bumble products! But most of all love it for Sierra who is a true miracle worker and always makes my Pinterest board of ideas come to life. After several months of upkeep trims we went with a big chop for the new year - and it’s the best hair cut I’ve ever gotten. Go see her!!!

Kylie and Ally did my elopement hair and makeup and it came out better than I could have ever imagined. I felt beautiful, and they made sure that I felt comfortable and confident with every single thing. These wonderful ladies definitely helped make our day more special! Thank you so much again!

Felt very impersonal. Arrived 10 minutes early and appointment started late (which is no big deal on its own). Washed hair, then another client came in a day early to their appointment - my stylist went to talk to them, left me in the chair, my hair dripping on my shirt (which again no huge deal on its own.) Said they could still squeeze them in. I was in the chair for less than 10 minutes and left with a pretty bad haircut. I'm kicking myself I didn't wait to book with Salon Salon where i've had several significantly better experiences and haircuts at. I won't be back.

I’m visiting from out of town and wanted a blowout for some anniversary pictures and found Hair Republic. I’m so glad I did - Kylie was incredibly kind and did such an amazing job on my hair. If I lived locally, I’d have found my new salon. Go check them out!!
