Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We had a wonderful stay at Green Mountain! The hotel was extremely clean, and you could constantly see staff members cleaning and taking care of the property throughout the day. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The rooms and common areas were very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for families. The location was convenient, and the family-friendly amenities made our stay easy and enjoyable for both parents and kids. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and hospitality and would absolutely stay here again!

Having stayed at The Green Mountain Inn several times, we again stay over Thanksgiving. From the beginning we have enjoyed the warmth & charm of the Inn. The decor & original flooring in the original building give it the charm. For this stay, Monique was very helpful in taking our reservation. The Front Desk personnel are always welcoming and helpful. Our room, a classic w/2 very comfortable queen beds in the annex was clean, warm, & roomy with a balcony overlooking the pool. The GMI has two excellent restaurants, The 18 Main St Dining Room for breakfasts & afternoon tea ( hot cider) & cookies. The Whip Bar & Grill served excellent meals, at reasonable prices. A shout out to Jane, our wait...

Beautiful hotel with a lot of heritage and character. I didn’t catch the name of the gentleman who checked me in, but Taylor (I believe) who checked me out was awesome as well. Both were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always with a smile, which really set the tone for the stay. The location can’t be beat; right in the heart of town and super convenient if you want to head out for a drink or walk around nearby shops and restaurants. I happened to be there during prom night for local high school students, so the lobby got pretty loud at times and parking was tight. That said, the hotel did have several overflow parking lots available, even if they required a short walk. Thankfully, none o...

Stayed here on multiple occasions over the last decade. Can't say enough good things about the place. From the beautiful flowers around the property, to the yummy homemade cookies, and the patio seating on a nice Summer day; it's New England charm 1833 style, with all the amenities you could ever ask for! Try the outdoor heated pool in the Fall and winter, nice perk!

The rooms weren't great as this is a historic inn. Our room was rather small with minimal storage space and I couldn't get our tv to work, I think it was due to weak wifi. I loved the whole feel of the inn with lots of spots to sit outside of the rooms. There were lots of activities such as pool, ping pong, air hockey, sauna, jacuzzi, and more. While we were in the sauna, the cleaning crew took our belongings but luckily we were able to track them down and get them back. 18 Main, the restaurant, had the best blueberry pancakes I have ever eaten.
