Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a catering partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I hired Gourmet Delights to cater my MIL’s 90th birthday party and I couldn’t have been happier. Roxanne was so helpful and accommodating with my one gluten free guest. I picked up the food and received in advance detailed instructions for the food. Everything was delicious and my guests raved over it all! I thought it was reasonably priced. I didn’t get photos of all the food but here is a sampling.

I cannot speak highly enough about Gourmet Delights Catering. We used them for our backyard wedding and every dish was incredible. Rachel made organizing everything very easy for us from start to finish and we were so impressed with everything Roxanne made for us! I would highly recommend using them for your catering needs, their menu is so extensive, there is something for everyone, even the pickiest of guests. Thank you for helping to make our special day so great!

I hired Gourmet Delights for my daughter's wedding, and we were not disappointed. They were amazing! There were so many comments about how good the appetizers and the food were. My nephew loved the meatballs and my husband (who was a sous chef many years ago and tends to be hyper-critical) thought the food was great. Not only was the food delicious, but the entire team was super nice and accommodating. They made us feel special. I highly recommend Gourmet Delights. Thanks Rachel, for making the day extra special.

Roxann and her crew are fabulous. Her proposed menu was completely spot on and fully accommodating of dietary needs. Serving suggestions for timing, personnel, and spaces were perfect. The combination of experience, professionalism, and flexibility among her staff made our event carefree, and compliments for the food and presentation came from every quarter. Thanks, Roxann!

The gourmet delights team was absolutely incredible on our wedding day. A month has gone by and our guests continue to rave about how good the food was. Everything tasted amazing but the lemon aioli salmon really stole our hearts that night. Roxann, Rachel and Carmela helped us to plan all of the details leading up to the event and we couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. The team working at our event was so attentive and ensured that everything ran seamlessly. My photographer captured this photo from the night which really emulated to me how much the team loves what they do and working with each other, I couldn’t have imagined having a more perfect catering team.
