Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a entertainment partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Hiring DJ Victoria Johnston was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From our very first planning meeting, we knew we were in great hands. She took the time to walk us through every part of the day, from our ceremony music and first dance to cake cutting, and all of the special moments in between. She had so many helpful suggestions and made the entire planning process feel easy! On our wedding day, DJ Tori absolutely exceeded every expectation. The music was perfect from start to finish, and she did an incredible job reading the crowd and keeping the energy up all night. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had! She knew exactly what songs to play and when to ...

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding reception! Bob Stackpole was absolutely awesome and kept the party going all night. From the moment the reception started, he helped keep everything flowing smoothly and made sure the timeline stayed on track. Bob was incredibly kind, professional, and so easy to work with throughout the entire process. He arrived prepared, efficiently set up his DJ booth and dance floor lighting, and everything looked and sounded great. The music selection was fantastic, and he did an excellent job reading the crowd and keeping everyone on the dance floor. He even joined in and danced with everyone during songs like the Cupid Shuffle— made the night e...

Working with DJ Patrick and Get Down Tonight Entertainment was such a great experience for us! From our first meeting with DJ Patrick we knew it was going to be a great fit. He and my wife are both teachers so they were able to connect over that, and it was clear from the start that his passion for music would make the night that much better! DJ Patrick took the time to meet with us on multiple occasions and ensure we had everything planned out, and he even gave us sample playlists that he has used before so we could sort of see what the vibe would be like. He took a few special requests of songs from us also and fit them into the night seamlessly. DJ Patrick also checked in with us througho...

We had the pleasure of having DJ Nick Mascioli of Get Down Tonight Entertainment DJ our wedding in early March, and we couldn't recommend him more!! Leading up to the wedding Nick was beyond helpful. He gave recommendations for songs if needed, knew exactly when and where to cut and mix the music, and even gave recommendations down to the BPM. We knew going into the wedding we were in good hands with Nick. On the day of Nick arrived plenty early to ensure everything was ready to go for the ceremony. Nick met with the bride, groom, and the entire wedding party to ensure we all on the same page and comfortable going into the ceremony, grand entrances, and speeches for the reception. Nick kept ...
