We paid over $210 for Fourth of July dinner here at Gedney Kitchen and we now no longer need to try to imagine what Chuck E Cheese kids meals taste like as we were heinously served frozen store-bought pizza that resembled Lunchables - presented on white paper plates. How can you call yourself a chef while serving this pre-bought preservative-soaked cheap garbage to your clientele? It’s lazy and uninspired and lacking in pride for what you do. We eat vegan pizza all of the time in NYC & all over the world and it takes so little to make it great. Jacuzzi tub in the room didn't work. Most of the reason we booked here. Comfortable bed though. Not great hotel room to spend time in when you need down time. But there are great common spaces. Very peaceful and better than a hotel room.

One of the most beautiful pieces of land in the Berkshires is also a lovely restaurant with a top-notch chef, warm and very personal service, and a feeling of a true getaway. We've enjoyed Gedney Kitchen in all seasons, although it really shines in late summer with outdoor dining on the lawn. The food is unfussy and consistently well-prepared, and the staff is attentive and caring.

What an amazing place. The location is serene with walking paths. The rooms are in an old barn which is beautiful. My room had a working real wood fireplace and all I had to do was light a match. The bathroom was huge and clean. The bed was super comfortable. We dined in the restaurant. Fall/Winter is an Italian menu. Really delicious. The staff is absolutely wonderful and helpful Highly recommend staying
