Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a hair & beauty partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I’m honestly blown away. I don’t normally give reviews, actually my 1st ever…here goes! Sheryl took great care and time as she cut and blowed out smooth- I loved it- so healthy and a bit sassy too! I was a little nervous about 1st wash and styling it on my own, how it would turn out. But wow… it looks amazing. The curls are soft, full, and beautifully shaped—definitely not “poodle-like,” which I’ve struggled with before when cutting length. It’s actually fun and incredibly easy to style, with so much natural movement and volume. This is one of the best cuts I’ve ever had. It looks great with almost no effort, which is exactly what I was wishing for- yet never thought it’d be true for me...

I went to Sheryl's place for the first time about a month and a half ago and she did the best job on my hair when I requested to get it cut short. She made it look so cute and pretty after it was done. She knew exactly what it needed. She has such a welcoming atmosphere and a cute, cozy studio. She is a wonderful artist and makes your hair look cute!

I am in town for a wedding and was looking for a local hair salon in Kennebunkport, Maine to style my hair for the event. Let me say Cheryl at Fringe Art is the stylist to go to! She did such a beautiful style and blow out on my hair. She is highly talented! The whole experience at Fringe Art was wonderful. I highly recommend this place for any occasion. I also want to thank Michael for his friendly service at the desk as well.

Perfection! Fringe has moved to a new location in Kennebunk and is simply fabulous. Where can you go have your hair done by one of the best in the industry (both cut and color) in the most relaxing little red cottage? Fringe 2.0 is where. Not only is Sheryl an accomplished professional, but the experience is like no other. I hope you are lucky enough to be able to get on her schedule!

A beautiful, fiery and true artist in an admirable way. Where else can you go for the perfect hair, a kitty in your lap and the best cup of tea? Sheryl is like no other!

How far is this from home?

Pick the city you and most of your guests will be driving from and we will estimate the trip.

An estimate for planning, not live traffic. Leafy weekends in October always take longer.
