Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

French's Point is magical! Our wedding weekend exceeded all expectations. The entire team at French's Point went above and beyond every step of the way. They were incredibly helpful during the planning process - from getting our rooms sorted for family and friends staying on-site to making sure all of our ideas could be executed on-site. The wedding weekend was absolutely amazing and Rachel was a huge part of that. She made sure ever aspect was perfect and was a genuinely fun and kind presence on-site. Our wedding guests were blown away by the gorgeous venue and the views! So many people told us they had never been anywhere like French's Point! I cannot recommend French's Point more highl...

We hosted our wedding weekend at French’s Point this past November and it was pure magic. This is such a unique and established venue with a rich history. We toured with the owner, Jessika, a few short weeks after our proposal and absolutely fell in love with the estate and grounds. We had clear skies all weekend and the most beautiful orange and purple sunsets I have ever seen. It is such a breathtaking setting, and we are so glad we were able to share it with our closest friends and family! The team at FP were so friendly, professional, and accommodating. Rachel was so welcoming and made us feel right at home! They go above and beyond in so many ways. Our guests are still talking about ...

French's Point is pure magic. We had the time of our lives celebrating our wedding there in September 2024. It is such a special location that deserves 10 stars!! The entire property is absolutely gorgeous and the amenities are excellent. It is an incredibly unique venue that makes everyone feel like they are on vacation. Jessika and her team on site are amazing, and made us feel at home and at ease the entire weekend. The vendors that service French's Point are also unbelievable. Highly recommend to anyone considering a Midcoast Maine wedding!

My husband and I got married at French's Point in early September and the experience was nothing short of magical. The property is gorgeous with beautiful gardens that overlook the ocean with every color of hydrangea in bloom. The pictures don’t even do it justice, it looks even more spectacular in person. Our guests are still raving about the venue. The houses on the property were lovely and very well maintained. We were looking for a coastal venue with a sailcloth tent for our reception and while there are a few properties that fit description in New England- none offer the privacy of French’s Point. We loved having the property to ourselves for the weekend and being able to connect with ou...

My husband and I got married here May 10, 2025 and it was spectacular! We had never seen the venue in advance, but after speaking to Jessika and reading reviews online we felt comfortable booking it for just six months out. And it was better than we could have ever imagined! Rachel and the FP team are incredibly attentive and genuinely want you to feel supported and have a good time. We got so many compliments on the rooms and the different spaces that our guests were in. We were initially hoping for an outdoor wedding, but it was raining all day so it was moved inside. I was initially nervous as I was so set on the spectacular views, but French's Point and E. Wales (our coordinator and cate...
