Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We had our October wedding at Four Winds Farm in Peterborough. It was so incredibly picturesque. We rented out the barn and hill house for the whole weekend, and it was definitely worth it! So much space for wedding party and family to stay. We even had family members bring their campers & hook them up in the parking lot across the road, so close to the venue but perfectly out of site. The hill house was the perfect spot for all the women to get hair and makeup done, while the men got ready in the barn apartment. My husband and I stayed in the cabin in the woods the night of our wedding. We had a fire and chatted about all the fun we had at the wedding and it is such a sweet memory for us. ...

Our wedding at Four Winds Farm was pure magic. The eclectic décor, sweeping views, and enchanting ambiance created a setting that felt both intimate and timeless. Every corner of the farm held its own quiet wonder, and the venue helped make our wedding the best day of my life. I cannot recommend this place enough; it is a truly one-of-a-kind setting for a celebration of love.

Four Winds Farm is a beautiful place with a unique history of art, agriculture and conservation woven across four generations. The character and charm of the farm are authentic and run deep. Nowhere is this more evident than in The Barn where the farm's theatrical history provides a backdrop for events. My wedding experience in this space was filled with wonder and colored by the warm glow of a very special place. Thank you, Four Winds Farm!

Four Winds Farm is truly a special place, it's next level charming and filled with authenticity. The views, the vibes, and the whole experience of being there is really deeply moving and lovely. It's an incredible backdrop for a special event, and the owners are simply wonderful and accommodating. I love this place and can't wait to return.

I can't think of a more ideal space and place for an event in New England. The old barn with its amazing history and decor, the view of Mt. Monadnock, The swing over the hill, the bridge crossing over the beaver pond. Just spectacular! Truly a gem and right outside of downtown Peterborough!
