Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

This Air BNB was truly delightful. The grounds are stunning, as are the lake views. Our host Marc was communicative & accommodating. He invited us to join them by the fire the night we stayed & enjoyed a great conversation. If your looking for a nice little getaway here in Vermont during the summer, this is the place.

Beautiful venue and great experience with the owners. We had our wedding in August and even though it poured most of the time, the space was perfect and we caught a rainbow and sunset 💕 We used the Airbnb space to get ready, and loved the space overall. Thanks again!

Marc and Heather have a stunning property - perfect for a wedding, or really any event / celebration. We reserved the Ferry Watch Inn for our son's wedding weekend - holding the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all at the location. The bride also used the onsite apartment to get ready. Marc and Heather were wonderfully accommodating to all of our needs. They provided help and guidance, including fantastic recommendations for vendors. Marc was willing to coordinate directly with vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly. He checked in with us all through the planning process leading up to the wedding weekend, and throughout the various events onsite. He was nothing short of...
