Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a photo & video partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I am in awe of how perfect our wedding pictures are! I have worked with Rachael before on a smaller scale and was equally pleased, so when it came to finding the perfect photographer I knew who to call. She not only took fantastic pictures but she was attentive to our other needs- greeting guests, helping family members in need, even repairing my husband medals when they broke off of his uniform. She checked in frequently and spoke kind words commenting on how attentive I was taking care of my children throughout the night. She is not only an amazing photographer but a fabulous human who added so much joy and happiness to our day. I highly recommend her and her talents. She will capture the...

I absolutely love working with Rachael. She has an artistic eye and helps get a group of 25 yoga and barre teachers to smile in front of the camera. Her energy is contagious, she pays close attention to detail + is a joy to be around.

What a wonderful family photo shoot we had with Rachael. She is professional but also down to earth and friendly. She did a great job making sure that everyone was feeling relaxed and my busy young boys listened to her fun suggestions and actually smiled for the photos!! Rachael knew exactly where we should pose on a gray afternoon and what spots at Footbridge beach would be perfect for our photos. We can’t wait to book with her again!

We’ve had our maternity photo shoot with Rachael and loved her so much we had her come back and meet the baby for our newborn photos too. She’s really down to earth and fun. She make awkward me feel comfortable during the whole thing. I’m so happy to have met her and that she documented those moments for us. Also, when she did our newborn’s photos she was amazing with our son. Even held him while I finished getting ready because… new mom. Can’t recommend her enough.

I cannot say enough good things about Rachel. The entire process of booking and arranging the photographs was a breeze. She is very communicative and willing to work with your schedule. We wanted to capture some family photos before we moved out of our house. She arrived right on time and guided us through every step of the process, making us feel totally comfortable. She really wanted to capture the essence of our family and she definitely did. Looking at the finished photos we were blown away by the quality and how she did truly seem to understand us as a family. If we weren’t moving out of state we would book this with her every year. I highly recommend her to anyone!
