Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Adding to Paul's wedding weekend review, the staff was outstanding - and juggling a huge NE Region youth soccer tournament. Jose and Frima were outstanding at the Penstock Brunch. Emerson, Michael, Juls and (Diana?) at the front desk were fantastic. Location downtown is great, walking distance to restaurants, bookstore, cafes. We stayed in several hotels over a couple week trip. This had the best bed and by far the best shower.

Overall, a great hotel. One thing, they seem to not have automatic log on to their website when you have left and come back to the hotel. I ended up using data for days unnecessarily. I was here for a convention, right in the hotel, but stayed 8 nights. The lunches provided were dismal. The service at the bar and restaurant was very good until the bar manager came on board towards the end of the week and charged us for larger wine than we ordered. Same old air conditioner issues-so loud. I noticed that the room cleaning went downhill once my husband left. Maybe my imagination, but other ladies didn't have their beds made either, or not until very late in the day. Oddly, my husband refus...

Hector went above and beyond for me during the LFOD convention. He was extremely kind and caring throughout the weekend. He did everything he possibly could to ensure that I had everything I needed and went out of his way to get a personal fan due to the heat to help cool our area off more. He made the whole weekend more fun and enjoyable!

Spent a week here for a convention. Exceptional service, and rooms very comfortable with well thought out amenities. Management has good eye for detail and also accommodating to changing circumstances. Will look forward to returning in the future!
