Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Had the pleasure of dining here on a Sunday evening in June. The restaurant manager, Adrian, elevated the experience. He consistently checked in with us, and made sure that we got our food promptly, and that we were pleased with everything. My friend and I started by splitting an order of mussels. They were cooked perfectly; plump and tender, with absolutely no rubbery or chewy texture. They soaked up the rich broth beautifully! For my main course — I got the Seafood Trio, which is an absolute must-try! The shrimp and scallops were incredibly tender, and the haddock was perfectly flaky. The light breadcrumbs added just the right amount of crunch without overpowering the fresh flavor ...

Went UP to 3 stars because of the superb view and the attentive staff. Cocktails were oddly inconsistent. One drink was overly alcoholic. The next one had no noticeable alcohol in it. Bartender didn't know what a Shirley Temple was. And instead of asking, made it with lemonade... Tuna tartar was excellent. Chicken piccata was no good. Chicken overcooked. Noodles overcooked. An obnoxious abundance of capers made the noodles sour. Seafood chowder had NO noticeable or distinguishable seafood in it. They offered a steak. But no side sauces. Served as a dry steak. They offered us ketchup. ???? Lobster roll was passable. Mixed green salad was fantastic. Excellent produce. Prices are also fairly lo...

The location itself is beautiful! Service was good at the start, but unfortunately became progressively worse. It took nearly 40 minutes for our check to arrive after finishing our meal. Additionally, although the food itself is excellent, we paid dinner prices for lunch portions. I am not exaggerating when I mention the serving size of haddock for dinner was likely somewhere between 3-4 ounces. Seems like a great location for those who want a great view and smaller portion sizes; however, if you are expecting a full meal I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. Our entire table left feeling hungry.

We happened to have won a gift card for Dockside. Tonight we came and had the most delicious meal. Our waitress was Haley and she was very friendly and pleasant. The atmosphere was great, the view of the water and boats was nice as well.

We visited this restaurant this evening and food was delish! Excellent service was provided by Josephine ( short Ribs) she was attentive and very sweet. The chef walked around checking with tables to be sure everyone's meal was up to our expectations! We'll definitely go back! Thanks for a lovely evening!
