Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a entertainment partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Dave's years of experience were on display at this recent wedding at Sites farm. There were no hiccups with equipment, or music. He was polished and professional enough with his MC skills to move from moment to moment cleanly with no dead air time. That means no awkward silences full of confused looks. The music he played kept the dancefloor moving making my job easier and that's all I could ask for. Cheers to Dave for Decades in the business.

My husband I booked DJ Paul from Dionne Entertainment for our wedding on 6-25-22. Leading up to booking, Dave (I believe he's the owner) chatted with me on the phone answering my many questions. After booking, I heard from Paul about five months prior to our wedding. He sent me a questionnaire to fill out going over all the music/emcee details for the day. We chatted about the questionnaire/all the wedding details about three weeks before the wedding, but it probably could have been earlier if I had gotten the form over earlier. I picked out all the songs myself, but I believe they are super willing to help if you’re stuck! During our phone conversation he helped us hone in on all the detail...

Sean was our wedding DJ this month, and he was wonderful! He was very easy to communicate with, and we had a great experience overall! Sean read the vibe of our guests so well, and everyone (myself included!) had a blast dancing the night away on the dance floor. He even caught on to a bit that our wedding parties had started the night before, surrounding Smash Mouth's "All Star", and surprised us by playing that song for a third time to close out the night. We highly recommend DJ Sean and Dionne Entertainment for your wedding!

Overall we had a good experience with our DJ, John, for our wedding last week. There were some hiccups during bigger parts of the day, but overall he did a good job. Pros: - John was very friendly and easy to talk to. He was willing to call and text clarifying questions before the wedding day. - Accommodating about my husband having epilepsy. He described in detail his light setup, and we had a contingency plan if he had issues with the lights. - John asked in advance how to pronounce my husband’s last name before announcing us into the reception. - Accommodating to song requests. Cons: - The ceremony songs were switched in error. When the bridesmaids walked out, we could hear it was actua...

Dave Dj’d our wedding on Sunday at Hardy Farm. He did an amazing job! I was a DIY bride and had handled all the organization on my own, with help from family. He was more than willing to provide insight, and accommodate our last minute timeline changes. We didn’t have particular songs requested for certain events and he played the perfect songs for those moments! The music selection was perfect and allowed all ages to get on the dance floor and groove. Could not recommend Dave enough.
