Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Truly an underrated gem in Bar Harbor. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, and well maintained and cleaned. If any little thing was not up to snuff, the innkeeper, Joy, is quick to take care of it with prompt service and a smile. The location can't be beat, just outside of the historic village district of Bar Harbor. You can easily walk to the downtown shops and eateries. To the south, it's just a few minutes' drive to Acadia's park loop road and all the attractions that the park has to offer. We were here for three nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. A fantastic little home away from home for those looking to explore this part of Maine.

We LOVED staying here. The location was perfect. Walking and biking distance to the center of town, but just far enough away to be out of all the traffic mess up there. Staff was super friendly and the room was great! Lots of room in there and very clean and well kept. Extremely pretty property to hang out at and the pool was a nice touch to enjoy at the end of the day.

My husband and I stayed at the Cromwell Harbor Motel the past 2 days while visiting Bar Harbor and were very pleasantly surprised. The motel is so pretty upon pulling into the parking lot, the room was very big and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the office staff was super friendly and helpful with questions we had. The motel is just a short walk from town and is convenient because you can park there and not have to deal with the $4 per hour parking fees in town. I would highly recommend this motel and will definitely be returning here again.

Great hotel and great place to stay. The room is clean, the bed is firm but I love it. Hotel is quiet and the staff is awesome. It will be great if the room provides some lotion, but not a big deal. Check out is at 10am.
