Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a catering partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Charlene took my very basic ideas for a wedding reception ( chicken and beef dish, veggies and Mac and cheese for the kids) and created the most delicious food and presentation of that food. No foil pans! Beautiful chaffing dishes, and she thought of all the little extra that we didn't know we needed . Charlene created a memorable reception. She listened to my ideas and made suggestions that were amazing. Thank you Charlene and John, especially for helping open the bubbly!!

Charlene created brunch for over 100 guests after our daughter's wedding and it couldn't have been better. Delicious seasonal food, cute handmade serving table and cheeseboard (beautiful presentation of food), and many options for vegetarians or gluten free people were just a few of the outstanding features. She's thought of everything and is fun to work with. Thanks Charlene and John!

Did a great job on short notice but unfortunately not as “high end” as I expected for the cost. But absolutely delicious food and amazing brownies.
