Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I don't even know where to begin to express how unbelievably amazing this venue and team is! Cold Spring Farm is everything you need and want and so more in a wedding venue! Our first time touring the venue was with Diane who immediately made us feel at home, welcomed, and so comfortable. She has such a bright and warm presence, we knew before we hit the car our search was over and we found our perfect venue. From start to finish we always felt heard and seen, the communication and attention to detail from Diane and Sarah was incredible. The location and venue itself is absolutely breathtaking, months after our 10/4/25 wedding we are still in awe and still hear from our family and guests ho...

Where do I even begin. From the first day we toured the property, we were met with Diane who came across the property and embraced us all with a hug. Not only is the property absolutely beautiful, but the team there was so amazing to work with. Sarah helped up nail down our plans a couple months prior to the wedding in addition to coordinating all our vendors, which took so much stress off me. She then helped us so much with getting everything set up prior to the rehearsal, even finished up some things after we had to leave to get ready before coming back for the actual rehearsal. My Godfather who married us had never officiated a wedding before, so she was right there assuring all of us on...

What an amazing venue for a party! Our Lakes Region Newcomers Club held a monthly Mix and Mingle here the end of May and it was fabulous! The Barn is gorgeous, the decorations classic and the staff so helpful and gracious. The icing on the cake are the views!!! Majestic and iconic while we listened to great music and sipped cocktails! A perfect evening!

We hosted our daughter's high school graduation party at Cold Springs, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Diane and her staff were amazing—friendly, professional, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire event. Even weeks later, people are still commenting on how fantastic the venue was and how wonderful the staff made everyone feel. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special milestone. Thank you to Diane and the entire team for making the day so memorable!
