Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I had a great experience glamping here for 2 nights as a wedding guest! The venue has unbeatable views, and plenty of space indoors and outdoors for activities. The glamping tent was spacious. It can get very hot during the day (it was in the 70s outside but it was over 90 in the tent!) and cold at night, but Pod 1 tents have a gas stove heater that kept us warm at night. It would've been nice if the floor had been vacuumed as part of the room prep -- there were a lot of particles under our feet from the first time we stepped in, which didn't feel great. The shared showers and toilets in the glamping site were really nice! Definitely better than I expected. The toilets, showers, and sinks ...

I had my wedding at Cobb Hill Estate mid-June, and I couldn't recommend it more! The unique thing about Cobb Hill is that you can bring in all of your own vendors, which was something I was looking for! I love the freedom that this venue offers, and the opportunity to stay on-site was special! I loved having our rehearsal dinner on the property as well as the wedding the next day. It made the wedding and days surrounding it feel so intimate and celebratory with our friends and family! Cobb Hill Estate is an absolutely beautiful venue- we had a gorgeous day and our guests kept commenting on the views and the venue! I would recommend this venue to anybody- great communication, service, views, ...

Stunning venue, views were absolutely breathtaking. A little hard to find but the venue knows it and give you easy specific directions for navigating up the remote road. COMPLETELY worth the trek up.

Cobb Hill Estate has an absolutely incredible mountain view that makes it the perfect location for a wedding. The natural beauty of the mountains creates a stunning and memorable backdrop, making any wedding feel truly special and unforgettable. You truly would be hard pressed to find another venue with as good a view.

This review is for a tour only! It's such a beautiful and unique location! We came here on a tour, and it met all of my expectations. I think every season is probably stunning. We came between snow and after the leaves had fallen. So it was quite chilly touring! But the team was thoughtful and has places for you to warm up or help yourself to a cup of coffee. You do have to sign up for an audio tour, and while there is someone on site, you truly are alone and go at your own pace, which me and my fiancé loved. The drive up was a little rustic, but I thunk that's the price you pay for the remote location.

Getting here

How far is this from home?

Pick the city you and most of your guests will be driving from and we will estimate the trip.

An estimate for planning, not live traffic. Leafy weekends in October always take longer.

For your guests

Lovely places to stay nearby

The Birchwood Inn, Temple

A handful of quiet rooms in a small village.

Jack Daniels Motor Inn, Peterborough

Easy, affordable overflow near the center of town.

Hancock Inn

One of the oldest inns in the state, full of character.

Three stops worth the detour

Somewhere pretty for photographs, and somewhere warm for a good cup of coffee.

Mount Monadnock from Dublin Lake

The mountain reflected in still water, best at dawn.

Harrisville village mill ponds

Brick mills and bridges that photograph beautifully.
