Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a catering partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We held my father's surprise birthday party in the function room at the Roundabout Diner, catered by Chill Catering. Everything went smoothly. Our party guests raved about the food (we chose the Graze charcuterie spread for 50 people, cookies & brownies, and water & lemonade dispensers), the staff member assigned to us (Maeve) was helpful and friendly, the a/v set-up was exactly what we needed to play a slideshow of pics of my dad as well as a playlist of his favorite songs, and the space was laid out perfectly. I highly recommend Meg and her team at Chill Catering!

We booked chill catering for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception! Their event room located at the Roundabout Diner was spacious, clean and a great atmosphere to kick off our amazing wedding weekend. Jessica K. took amazing care of us - she was timely, attentive, kind & communicative; as was her team! For our reception we did heavy apps, a mixed of passed and stationary which was a huge hit! The food was great quality and lots of guests complimented the food and service! 10/10 recommend!

I just used Chill Catering for a multi-day charity bicycle tour. They catered dinner for 3 nights and each night their food got raves from our riders. As the ride coordinator, I not only appreciated the great food but the outstanding service we got from Chill. Their staff was on time, efficient and friendly. I can't wait to use them again!

Chill catering catered my wedding in Portland Maine and it was fantastic! Their team (specifically Jessica) are so kind, friendly, and easy to work with. They were really flexible and helped me make a menu that fit all of my guests' needs. The food was so good that I had to come visit the Roundabout Diner after my wedding to have those steak tips again!

I hired Chill Catering to set up a graze (appetizer) table for my retirement event. Jessica was incredibly easy to work with and was very accommodating despite some schedule uncertainty on my end. The quality and variety of the food was amazing as was the presentation. There was something for everyone, and the graze got lots of rave reviews!
