Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a photo & video partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We can't say enough wonderful things about working with Russ and Liz! From the start when we were searching around for photographers, they were the standout. It really was never a question once we began communicating. They always got right back to us, and it was a pleasure working with them throughout the whole process. We had to postpone our wedding twice (originally planned for June 2020 and finally married June 2022 ) and they made it all such an easy process and they were so understanding. In addition to being true professionals, Russ and Liz are just very kind, genuine, and lovely people. We worked with them and got to know them over the course of 3 years because of our pandemic postpon...

Russ and Liz are true professionals and we are so grateful to them for all they did to make our wedding day perfect!!! They are kind, extremely organized, and made us feel comfortable from the first time we worked with them at our engagement photo shoot. On the actual wedding day they helped us stick to our timeline and also took us to a few offsite locations which was a great way to have some alone time! The first look was by far one of our favorite parts of the wedding day and Russ & Liz captured every moment of it while still making us feel like it was just us two. They came to our rehearsal the night before which was truly above & beyond and helped us find the perfect place to put a ...

Russ and Liz were our AMAZING photographers (initially) for our wedding back in 2015. This year, my parents celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. I couldn't think of a better gift for them than family photos in our favorite place on our favorite beach! (My sister agreed!) I immediately contacted Russ to let him know when we would be in town and he was delighted to help. The pictures he captured of our family are stunning - absolute magic! He was great with our kids and truthfully it was so great to see him again and have him be a part of yet another special occasion in our lives! Russ is a very kind person with so much talent and passion for what he does. We look forward to havi...

Russ and his colleague did a wonderful job photographing our daughter's wedding in November 2025. They were easy to work with and dependable. Most importantly, they made the bride and groom, the wedding party and both families very comfortable and did a great job getting beautiful photos before and during the wedding that truly captured special moments. And, as a bonus, they were able to turn the photos around quickly! Highly recommend.

We worked with Russ and Liz for 1 year leading up to our wedding. We first met them for our engagement photo session in June 2021 and we knew right away that we hired the perfect photographers. Not only were they incredibly professional and helped make my husband and I (who have never really been photographed professionally) feel comfortable, but they also were extremely flexible. The day we had our engagement session scheduled ended up being very rainy, but since we were only in Maine for a limited time for vacation it was the only day we could do it. Russ and Liz were in constant contact with us throughout the day and we were able to sneak in for our session right as the storm lifted and g...

Getting here

How far is this from home?

Pick the city you and most of your guests will be driving from and we will estimate the trip.

An estimate for planning, not live traffic. Leafy weekends in October always take longer.
