Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a catering partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We had an amazing experience with Andrej and team for a family dinner. They had amazing communication from the start and were extremely responsive. We loved every dish- the bacon scallops, baby clams, tuna cucumber cups, crab cakes and prosciutto crostini's were amazing. We had steak and lobster dinner dishes that everyone loved. Their service was wonderful & they left the kitchen spotless. Highly, highly recommend!!! Would use Andrej & team again in a heartbeat.

I had the pleasure of working with Cape Cod Private Dinners for a intimate wedding I planned and they were absolutely incredible from start to finish. Chef Andre and Monika were so easy to communicate with - professional, upfront, and clear about pricing and menu options, which made the planning process seamless. On the day of the event, Chef Monika and her assistant Aaliyah arrived right on time and immediately got to work with calm confidence. Every course was outstanding - beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Guests were raving all night long! Beyond the food (which was phenomenal), the team was kind, efficient, and just a joy to work with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cape...

Andrej was amazing from the very beginning. We kind of scheduled a private dinner with my wife and another couple for my wife's birthday last minute and he was able to accommodate! Prior to meeting him, he was VERY responsive with everything. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything he cooked was eaten and we had a 4-course meal! We chose the tenderloin and lobster and it was the best we have ever had. To finish it off we enjoyed the melt-in-your-mouth pear tart. My wife and I are going to be coming back to the Cape and are definitely going to book Andrej again! Thank you again Andrej for a delicious meal and some great memories!

I got married on the Cape in June and had a very small wedding of about 15 people. We had Chef Andrej and his team cater our after party and it was AMAZING. For the months leading up to our wedding Chef Andrej was always very responsive and kept us up to date on his plans. We had a cocktail party with heavy hors d'oeuvres. Each piece of food was a little piece of art. The attention to detail and beauty of the food was incredible. Not to mention, it was all delicious. There was a huge variety of food, and he had the perfect dishes for what we wanted. The service was great, they cleaned up and packed up all of the leftovers afterwards. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. My whole family is ...

Could have had a better experience with Chef Monika and Sonja for my parents 40th Anniversary dinner. I communicated with Chef Andrej extensively leading up to the dinner- I revised the menu multiple times and Andrej made great suggestions! The communication couldn't have been easier. On the day of the event Chef Monika and Sonja showed up prepared with everything they needed! They set the table beautifully and Sonja served us the most unreal appetizers out on our patio. They were very flexible when we changed our schedule around a little bit. The entree was absolutely unreal- one of the best meals we have had in a while! The serving was pretty large for what I was expecting. We all finished...
