Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a photo & video partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We are beyond grateful for Caitlin! She was so easy to work with, incredibly communicative, and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. Our wedding photos are literally out of this world! She captured our most special day in the most beautiful, authentic way. We’ve also used Caitlin for both engagement and family photos, and each time, she blows us away. She’s truly a mastermind behind the camera. Highly, highly recommend!

Caitlin was the photographer for a wedding I was a bridesmaid in back in 2021. She was so great to work with, was fun, kept things moving, and once I saw here finished products I KNEW I had to work with her. When I became engaged she was the first vendor I reached out to. My husband and I are not people who love being in the spotlight but Caitlin knew us to make us feel comfortable and look natural in all of our photos. She is amazing to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone! I can't wait to have her amazing photos forever.

Caitlin shot an engagement for my partner and I. She did a fantastic job. Her services were as outlined in the contract, she was on time, LGBT friendly, and so friendly. Highly recommend.

We worked with Caitlin for our July 2018 wedding, and Caitlin is hands down amazing to work with. From the first time we talked with her, she was always open, friendly, and helpful. She was always quick to respond to questions about photography and how to plan out our day so we could get all the shots we wanted. We knew we had hired someone special when she was willing to trek around with us in (literally) 2 degrees and 2 feet of snow for our engagement photos. Then it turned out to be 85 & humid on our wedding day, but Caitlin never missed a beat in either situation. She put us completely at ease on the wedding day, like a close friend there to capture each moment. With her help, we ran ahe...

Caitlin is incredible. She is the perfect mix of friendly & professional; she explained her packages and her process in a straightforward and clear manner which was super refreshing in a generally stressful wedding planning experience. Before our engagement session we were nervous since neither of us had ever had our photos taken professionally. Caitlin made us feel comfortable right away. She taught us a couple of poses and made us feel like we knew what we were doing, and that we didn't look ridiculous. Her eye for composition & lighting made for truly gorgeous photographs. Between our engagement session and wedding day we received a couple of unexpected and totally thoughtful packages f...
