Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a photo & video partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I've used Brass Tacks Photography for my business/ brand photos which came out amazing! She is so helpful in telling you what to expect and is the best at showing you how to pose. Andrea has also photographed my engagement photos and will soon photograph our Wedding! It gives me peace of mind to know exactly what to expect. She is so easygoing and fun to work with. The photos I will cherish forever!

I have used Andrea for both my business/branding photos and for maternity photos. Both were great experiences. She is very professional, and has great vision to get the perfect shot. She also has a fun, laid-back attitude which really helps you loosen up and have fun with your photo shoot. Highly recommend her for all of your branding & life moment photography!

Absolutely blown away by our wedding photos! Andrea captured every moment so beautifully and naturally. She was professional, kind, and exceptional at her job. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to document such a special day. Thank you Andrea!

We had a wonderful experience with Andrea as our wedding photographer. We first met her for our engagement shoot at the Arnold Arboretum where she made a chilly December day look cozy and inviting in the photos of us. In the lead up to our wedding, Andrea was very communicative and organized. We really appreciated how she walked us through a detailed photography schedule for our wedding day, which eased a lot of pre-wedding stress! We love our wedding photos and feel she did a great job of delivering both creative photos and more traditional portraits. She was also really fun to work with!

I am so happy we chose Andrea as our wedding photographer!! If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further! Her expertise, energy, presence, and ability to capture all of the love and excitement through photos exceeded my expectations. She navigated the chaos of the day and challenging dynamics with ease. Not to mention, the pictures came out absolutely beautiful. Andrea helps you feel comfortable in front of the camera and is creative and fun! We will be using her to capture future events!
