Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Where do I start? This hotel certainly has its ups and downs. First off location, which is absolutely awesome. You are in walking distance from Stowe. There was also a gorgeous view of Mount Mansfield from the fire pit. The room, not so great. The rooms are extremely dark, my first room that I was given, had stains on the sheets, and the shower was dirty. So I was given another room this time the room wasn’t so bad, but the balcony was filled with leaves and completely filthy. This brings me to the service component of our stay. The service is phenomenal here anytime I had an issue. The issue was taken care of promptly and without question I very much appreciate Sarah and Abby for giving all...

We stay here every year for our family reunion. It’s always lovely! The rooms are comfortable, the pool is fun, and the lodge is beautiful in the morning. I love having my morning coffee in the comfy chairs. The only reason I have service a 4 was that all of our keys kept deactivating. Ours, our kids and our cousin’s. I remember this being a problem in the past too so hopefully they will read this and fix it!

We made a last minute booking at The Bluebird Lodge but everything was amazing. The staff are super friendly, so helpful! There are indoor and outdoor pools, amazing! Spacious and comfortable rooms. Bathrooms clean and just literally everything here was wonderful. We will definitely return to it if we are back in Vermont in future.

Great location, but, the room was just ok. The pictures on line definitely make it seem more bright and airy, however we found our room to be very dark and musty. We had to turn on the AC to circulate air but even that had the change filter light on. The bathroom was just ok. Nothing special, no fan. Things just seem worn down and in need of refreshing. Things we liked, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the team at the front desk and bar were very friendly. If we had stayed longer than two nights we definitely would’ve asked to switch to a different room. Ours was the King with balcony in the Switchback building.

We had a great experience. Stayed for a couple of days, everyone was very kind and attentive. We enjoyed the central location very close to the walking paths and stores. We brought our dog with and had no issues. Rooms were very quiet, could be a little more updated but we can’t complain since the nightly price was reasonable. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Overall would recommend for a quick stay in Stowe.
