Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a florals partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I had been dreaming of working with Emily Day for my wedding day long before I was even engaged and I am so thrilled that my experience with her was even better than I dreamed of. I think the photos speak for themselves for her artistry, but her collaboration and advice leading up the the wedding was so, so appreciated, especially as last minute we were hit with an early Nor'easter, causing us to scramble and change up all our careful plans. Despite the dreary weather, her florals made the day so colorful and warm.

We used Bell Brook Farm for our wedding florals and cannot say enough wonderful things about Emily and her team! We loved that they were flexible with pricing and had plenty of beautiful options all while staying within our budget. Emily is kind, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Everything was better than we could’ve ever hoped for and we highly recommend!! Will definitely be visiting the farm stand soon too, we’re hooked!

Emily and her team were our florists for our wedding in June. She is SO talented, I can't recommend her enough. We gave her a lot of flexibility with our florals as she is the expert, and let me say she did not disappoint. I could not get over how beautiful the florals looked at our wedding. The color palette was incredible and I can't stop looking at pictures of our dinner tables. She really was such a joy to work with and so reasonably priced. I would recommend her and her team to anyone!

I recommend Bell Brook Farm so highly. We had the honor of Emily & her team doing florals for our wedding at our home this fall, and the level of artistry and commitment to a nature-centric organic style is unmatched. Bell Brook Farm puts so much care into details to make sure everything aligns to the vision you have presented. We knew the whole time that Bell Brook farm's artistry would bring the feel of the day to life and boy did they deliver! We will truly never forget the work that went into making the day so beautiful and special. While I have not yet been to Bell Brook farm, I certainly will be making plans to visit! The farm has great events and is picturesque. With the holiday seas...

Not only has this farm an amazing flower stand at the road that’s helped me out in a pinch before - but Emily is also incredible when it comes to making wedding arrangements. She is living and breathing what she does, grows most of her flowers herself on the farm and is simply a visionary in her field. I simply can’t recommend her enough.
