Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We were invited to The Grand Fountain Bar Debut at Beechwood Hotel, & what a beautiful evening! ✨🥂 Built between 1929 & 1931 by Pierre S. du Pont, the Grand Fountain features stunning French-Baroque-inspired architecture. The Birbara family purchased it with the vision of restoring its beauty, & they’ve created an incredible outdoor space perfect for special occasions. 🌿 We enjoyed signature cocktails & flavorful small bites, including my favorite, the lobster roll! 🦞 Chef Derek Arnaldo’s attention to detail truly shines through. Looking for an upscale atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, great food & drinks? The Grand Fountain Bar at The Beechwood Hotel definitely worth checking out! ✨ #...

I will reserve my comments about the hotel rooms for another time. I have to share my thoughts about the restaurant, Sonoma. I have stayed in countless places around the world. I have, almost, always avoided the hotel restaurants. They have been over priced, over rated, and seldom satisfying. That is not the case with the restaurant at the Beachwood. Because of circumstances, I was trapped into having breakfast and dinner at the Beachwood restaurant. A first look at the limited menu, I was sure I was going to have the same disappointment. Man, was I wrong! I ordered the chicken parm, my wife, the tenderloin tips, and my mother, the lemon orzo soup. Each of these were outstandi...

The hotel is dirty and old. Walked into the room with a bottle of half drank beverage on the floor. The houskeeping just laughed it off. Hair in the bathroom. Cleanliness is questionable. The restaurant offer a small menu. The food is worse than a fast food place. Service is horrible.

Booking with this hotel was the biggest struggle of our entire wedding. When we first found the beechwood everything seemed promising. Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, good location. Once we booked, the troubles began. As other reviews have mentioned, coordinating a wedding block was not pleasant. Communication required more follow up efforts on our end than should be necessary, it was like pulling teeth. At one point, my wife's calls were no longer being answered so we used a different number to reach the team. Then we started to hear issues with room bookings from our guests. So I called myself and was told that there was no room block under my name. Only after this shock did I learn of th...

Pick the city you and most of your guests will be driving from and we will estimate the trip.

An estimate for planning, not live traffic. Leafy weekends in October always take longer.
