My children, husband and I stayed at the Bar Harbor Motel recently and though this is our second time here, this time felt even more special! The room was clean and they have made pleasant updates since our last visit. There are convenient parking spots right in front of each room. My kids loved playing at the playground and we enjoyed the pool one day. We absolutely loved the reindeer they gave the kids at check-in, the trail mix they were able to make in the mornings after breakfast, and the s'mores in the evenings! These experiences elevated our stay! Complimentary breakfast was good and appreciated! The front desk staff is wonderful as well!

One of the cleanest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The room has everything you need, well located, friendly staff. Even the breakfast was good. The staff is very friendly and constantly cleaning the public areas. You can even borrow certain supplies like binoculars, beach chairs, coolers, walking sticks. The make your trail mix is perfect for kids. Lots of activities and play areas for children. Such a cute, retro motel. My family and I loved the Bar Harbor Motel. Price is very reasonable, can’t say enough good things about this place!

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. I love the retro theme—very well done without sacrificing any modern day amenities. The rooms and decor are very cute. Highlights: -great continental breakfast -they have free things to borrow for hiking (binoculars, coolers etc) -very nice pool -s’mores by the fire pit in the evenings -located right off of the Island Voyager free shuttle bus, and also very walkable into town Also, all of the staff working there was very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

We had such a great experience at the Bar Harbor Motel. I'll be honest, seeing the word motel made us a bit hesitant... but we really liked the price and the location so we decided to try it. Also, the reviews were overwhelmingly positive so why not try it for two nights. It was so nice and welcoming. Our room was located right next to the lobby so super convenient. Staff was very nice and accommodating. We loved everything about the room. From the old retro look, to the art work on the wall, and just how clean it was. We really wish that this was a chain that was everywhere in the country. We would 100% stay in more locations like this if we know it was a similar setup. Thank you for also...

The Bar Harbor Motel was a great experience. The staff is very attentive, and the extras were amazing. My grandsons loved the nightly fire pit with some more fixings. The make your own trail mix bar was fun. Our family also appreciated the free loans of chairs, coolers, and walking sticks. A great place to stay, and it's close to the entrance to Acadia National Park.
