Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I highly recommend Bar Harbor Inn. My husband and I stayed for three nights and were made to feel welcome throughout our time there. We especially appreciated the gentlemen who were at the door - so friendly! We watched the sunrise at Cadillac Mountain, enjoyed the walkable shops and restaurants, hiked Acadia - rewarded ourselves with popovers at Jordan Pond, walked to the farmer's market on Sunday, took advantage of the spa (Navea is the best!), had the best dinner at Reading Room with an amazing view, and just enjoyed being there in such a beautiful location. Bar Harbor Inn was the perfect place to land at the end of each day. The living room felt like home and created an atmosphere of war...

Great location with wonderful views of the harbor and walkable to downtown. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is convenient has good food choices. Our room was clean and well maintained. The free onsite parking can get crowded bit we were able to always find a spot. The free continental breakfast was very good and plenty of food options. The heated infinity edge pool and spas was a nice surprise. The walk along the property and shoreline was a nice way to get some steps in and admire the senary. Highly recommend stay here if your visiting Bar Harber and Acadia National Park.

This hotel was nothing short of amazing. My wife and I spent the bulk of our honeymoon here and had a blast. The hotel itself was really nice with multiple restaurant options. The continental breakfast was phenomenal, the food and service were both incredible. We ate there every morning. The location was also great. We were able to walk to many restaurants and bars which allowed us to try a bunch of different foods and drinks. Access to Acadia was really nice too. We had a fifteen minute drive to Great Head Trail, Gorham Mountain Trail and Ocean Path Trail. Couldn’t be happier.

My recent stay at the Bar Harbor Inn was truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. This was my first time visiting Maine, and the staff made the trip feel so special from beginning to end. Every single employee went above and beyond to be friendly, welcoming, and accommodating in a way that genuinely stood out. The complimentary breakfast was by far the nicest hotel breakfast I’ve ever experienced — delicious options like salmon, chia pudding, fresh breakfast selections, and beautiful poolside seating overlooking the water. It felt luxurious and thoughtfully curated rather than your typical hotel breakfast. They also offered complimentary s’mores in the evenings, and the staff...

The room was excellent. If you’re going to stay here, pay the extra money and stay facing the bay. You can do it in the main building of the end. That’s where we were located. It looked like the water was maybe only 100 feet from our patio. The service was excellent. The room was outstanding. The restaurant was very good. Definitely worth coming to this place!
