Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a catering partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

The dinner catering for a salon. It was very generous and of good quality. Tuscan Vegetable Platter: It included various fillings such as red and green bell peppers, zucchini, yellow squash, and mushrooms, but my favorite was the tomato confit—intensely tangy, refreshing and very appetizing. The mozzarella cheese balls were rich and creamy, slightly chewy, and I couldn't stop eating them. However, the hummus was excessively salty. Charcuterie Platter: The salami and capicola were rich in fat but incredibly salty. The pepper ham was tender and had a strong smoky flavor with a slightly spicy aftertaste. I personally preferred the latter. Hot Brie Rasp Almond Fillo: This was my first time tr...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an outstanding experience working with the team at Baker’s Best for our recent event. From start to finish, their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were exceptional. A special thank-you to Meghan Grow, our Event Sales Manager, who made the entire planning process seamless. Meghan was responsive, thoughtful, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Our onsite team was phenomenal: • Kathleen Connolly • Nina Emens • Ruben Herrera Their execution, hospitality, and calm presence ensured everything ran perfectly. Huge appreciation as well to the culinary team—the food was extraordinary (and received many, many compliments) • Jim Drost, VP & Executive Chef • Ani San...

I recently had the pleasure of working with Baker's Best Catering for a donor appreciation event. Throughout the entire process they were thoughtful and attentive to our needs and provided great expertise when questions arose. The food was phenomenal and service the day of the event was amazing. They arrived early, made everything look fabulous and sent us home with a few surprise sweets. I will definitely use again!

What can I say, Baker's Best and their sales person Roberta Paglia and the onsite staff Mark and Mary really jumped in and made it so much easier for us to focus on family when had to host the Shiva with literally no lead time. I filled out a webform on their site and Roberta called the same day on a Sunday night and said we do this all the time and we know exactly what to do. Roberta took charge of the process and her first menu required almost no adjustments. The planning, accommodating food allergies and as Roberta promised Mark and Mary left the house cleaner than when they arrived while running the event and truly letting us be a guest at our own party. The food was great and every...

I only wish I had photos to capture the incredible food they prepared, because it was every bit as beautiful as it was delicious. We entrusted Baker’s Best Catering with a 150-person luncheon to celebrate my father’s life—a day that meant so much to my family—and they went above and beyond in every way. From the thoughtful planning and attention to every detail, to the seamless service on the day itself, everything was handled with such care. Communication leading up to the event was excellent, and the staff on site were not only efficient, but genuinely kind and compassionate. The food was exceptional and so well received by all our guests. I’m deeply grateful for their role in making this ...
