Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We stayed here for our mini moon and had a wonderful time. The rooms feature modern, stylish interior design that made the whole stay feel special. My only minor note is that the bathrooms could be a touch bigger. The staff were consistently warm and friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was a great way to start each day. My one critique: only one hot tub was working during our stay, and the sauna was turned off (not sure if it was out of service). It would have been nice to enjoy both, so hopefully those are back up and running soon. The WiFi was also pretty weak, so I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re planning to work remotely during your stay. Overall, this hotel is a great ch...

We just spent the weekend at AWOL and were very happy with our room and the breakfast spread included was amazing ! The staff were super friendly and helpful. There was a bus stop for the 108 to Stowe mountain resort right across the street which was super convenient. We loved the wood fire in our room. Our only critique would be that the hot tubs were closed during our stay. It’s understandable that with heavy snow fall they may not be operational. However, we booked our stay back in October and one of the reasons why was the sauna and hot tubs on site. We were snowboarding all weekend and hoped to enjoy the hot tubs each evening. The staff did provide a solution by saying their sister ho...

My husband and I just spent three nights in a fabulous a frame cabin on the property. It was meticulously clean and had all the amenities that you would need. The staff was super kind and helpful with anything we needed. The property is beautiful and very conveniently located to downtown Stowe and many trails. And to top off our great stay we had the complementary breakfast every morning which was so fresh and delicious.

Everything about our stay at AWOL was amazing! We loved the beautiful grounds and our room, and the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The included breakfast was delicious, and all of the common areas were very comfortable and inviting. We wished we could have stayed longer and are already talking about when we can come back!

Really lovely location within a 10 minute walk into the centre of Stowe. fabulous huge room, comfy bed and really fun hot tub outside. Breakfasts were buffet style and very nice indeed with homemade breads and jams amongst everything else. Cute little bar and also free hot beverages all day... we really enjoyed our stay.
