Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Ash Point Estate was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From the moment we first reached out, Christina and her team were responsive, personable, and enthusiastic in their communication. The estate itself is elegant yet has a lovely rustic charm, with a spacious layout that allowed our guests to mingle comfortably. Christina and her staff went above and beyond, effectively coordinating with all our vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly. They prioritized our preferences and did everything they could to make our special day truly perfect. Christina and her team are extremely kind, professional, and organized - we're so grateful for their incredible service! Thank you, Christina!

Christina and the rest of the team at Ash Point Estate were truly magnificent to work with, and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was beautiful and perfect. From the start, they were engaged with us in the planning process, with suggested vendor lists, as well as helping to make sure our chosen vendors had everything they needed before the wedding day. They were very straight forward and clear about pricing from the start, with no hidden fees or up-charges. When something unforeseen occurred at our reception that required immediate attention, the Ash Point team stepped in and took on additional responsibilities to ensure our guests were satisfied and everything went off with...

Words can’t really express how perfect our wedding was at Ash Point Estate. This is a stunning hidden gem with the most wonderful team and gorgeous property. As soon as we did our first site visit, we knew this was the place. My husband and I both grew up in Maine, so finding a venue where we could show off why we love this state so much was essential. Ash Point offered that and more. It’s minutes away from downtown Rockland, Birch Point State Park, and the Owls Head Lighthouse, so our guests from away got to experience quintessential coastal Maine! And the proximity to the airport & plenty of downtown lodging made travel easy. The property itself has views of Rockland Harbor and the Camde...

We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to work on three different events at this brand-new luxury venue. From a styled shoot to a rehearsal dinner and a wedding, each occasion showcased the versatility and beauty of this amazing location. The newly remodeled, climate-controlled barn was the perfect setting for the reception, while the stunning manor house provided a picturesque backdrop for the photo shoot and rehearsal dinner. The ceremony area, with its distant views of the water, offered a truly magical setting for the wedding ceremony. The spacious and elegantly decorated manor house was a wonderful space for the wedding party to relax and prepare, with a large gourmet kitchen that ...
