Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a photo & video partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Angie was fantastic to work with. My fiancé and I don’t usually take many photos of ourselves, but she made us feel completely at ease from the start. Since we didn’t have strong preferences for our wedding photos, Angie guided us through different ideas and settings (including walking through a crowded Porchfest) and captured incredible candid moments that truly reflected the emotion of the day. We loved working with her!

I highly recommend Angie for wedding photography! She was a huge part of what made our wedding so special! Her work stood out from every other photographer we researched and once we met her, we knew she was a perfect choice for us (for both her work and personality). She put so much care and effort into everything she did, leading up to the event, on our wedding day, and afterwards. She really made us feel special and captured all of the moments, big and small, that were important to us. And of course, the photos came out amazing! We couldn't be happier with the whole experience and the end result! Angie and her photos will forever be one of our fondest memories from our wedding!

I cannot recommend Angie enough. She's absolutely worth the cost. As a bride you spend a LOT of time with your wedding photographer, and she was absolutely incredible. She has a lovely personality, made me feel completely at ease, and gave the groom and I plenty of space so we could be present - all while managing to capture the most gorgeous moments on our wedding day! I would hire her over and over again. She really made our wedding day special in so many ways. The care she has for her work comes through in her photography.

I found Angie by chance on a list of photographers recommended by our wedding venue. Her website is easy to navigate and really showcases her ability to use natural light to create dramatic images of real, emotionally charged moments. I knew when I saw the shots she got of other couples and their guests that I wanted her to take photos of us on our wedding day; this was all before I ever spoke to her. As someone who doesn't really like to be photographed (I think I look horrible in posed photos!), Angie really made this whole process stress-free for us. She is really so down-to-earth and kind, not intimidating at all. She is someone I could easily see myself being friends with and that real...

Angie photographed our wedding last November, and we couldn't be happier with the experience of working with her, or with the results. We did an engagement shoot first to get comfortable in front of the camera, and Angie did a great job of putting us at ease, capturing us (and our dog) without making us feel like we were on the spot. At the wedding she and her assistant breezed us and our families through formal portraits, and then seemed to just disappear - Angie has a real talent for catching the moments we wanted to remember, without being obtrusive at all. Highly recommended!
