Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a photo & video partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

It was literally impossible to choose the best photos from the incredible selection Andrew sent us from our wedding! Going through the collection brought back all of the emotions of the day. It was amazing to see the photos he captured without our awareness - so many amazing candids Andrew is simply the best. His calming energy is also a huge plus for wedding photography since weddings can feel pretty overwhelming. He was always super responsive, kind and generous with his time. We highly recommend Andrew Cate Photography for any and all photography projects. You won't regret it! Thank you Andrew for everything - we really appreciate you!! -Lydia & Shawn

Andrew is amazing to work with. Our firm needed some new company branding shots and headshots and he delivered! He is calm cool and collected to work with and makes it fun. We also use him for the majority of our photography needs for clients as well. The best!

Andrew is a very talented photographer and wonderful to work with. He did my professional headshots and provided so many options and I loved them all! I have also seen some of his other work with event, corporate, and website content and have been so impressed. I highly recommend Andrew for any photography needs!

Working with Andrew was an absolute blast! He's so funny & knows how to capture the small moments people don't think about. His artistry is amazing & we couldn't be happier about our wedding photos. Everything from the tiny details (and there were a LOT) to the big picture setting are captured. I can relive my wedding time and time again. THANK YOU, Andrew, for making our day so special!

Andrew was truly wonderful to work with. He captured every moment of our wedding day. He was seemingly in every corner quietly capturing our memories. He was also wonderful with the flower girls (ages 9 and 6) keeping them engaged in the long day of pictures! I would absolutely recommend Andrew to anyone looking for a wedding, engagement, family, or any other reason to get professional pictures done. We can’t thank Andrew and his assistant enough! His photos are timeless and will be cherished for years to come.
