Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a photo & video partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Alex and his team are fantastic and true artists with their cameras! I refer clients periodically and will continue to do so! I also picked him to photograph my own engagement session in 2025 and my wedding in 2026 and couldn't be happier with the results! He offers direction/prompts to ensure the most flattering photos come out of my body and his assistant, Margot, is super helpful. She acts as a bridal attendant and can do more than most assistants can. She actually had experience in a bridal boutique prior so can help with the veil and get into the dress, etc. Photo Credit: Alex Paul Photography, obv!

Alex was amazing! We felt so comfortable with him during the whole day and had so much fun! Our wedding party said he was so easy to get along with and had no complaints. We got both hilarious photos and gorgeous ones, which is what we requested. Our photos turned out so beautiful. He is extremely attentive and professional. He listens to what is a priority for you regarding what type of pictures you want and what's most important. Highly recommend!

Alex is the best! He was our photographer for our wedding and rehearsal dinner/welcome party, and we couldn't recommend him more! He knows exactly what he is doing and gets the best photos. He is also just so fun to work with and be around. He brought his assistant, Margo, who was also INCREDIBLE. She goes so above and beyond and even bustled my dress for me! Seriously Alex is the best to work with and will be very efficient getting photos done, so you can enjoy your day!

We loved having Alex as our wedding photographer. The photos came out so beautifully and are such great quality. He did a wonderful job keeping our timing on track the entire day as well being such a fun presence on a very windy day! His assistant Margo was so nice and helpful, she even helped with bustling my dress/holding my bouquet etc. Would highly recommend booking for any special event or wedding!

Getting here

How far is this from home?

Pick the city you and most of your guests will be driving from and we will estimate the trip.

An estimate for planning, not live traffic. Leafy weekends in October always take longer.

For your guests

Lovely places to stay nearby

Chatham Bars Inn, Chatham

Classic oceanfront rooms, easy for a large guest block.

The Captain's House Inn, Chatham

Quiet and pretty for close family.

Sea Crest Beach Hotel, Falmouth

Beachfront and friendly on the budget.

Three stops worth the detour

Somewhere pretty for photographs, and somewhere warm for a good cup of coffee.

Nauset Light, Eastham

The red and white light everyone photographs.

Chatham Fish Pier

Boats, seals, and golden light late in the day.

Hot Chocolate Sparrow, Orleans

The Cape coffee stop worth the small line.
