Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a florals partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Nancy and her team are outstanding. As many others have said, Nancy was extremely kind and thorough while answering my thousands of questions. She was also incredibly understanding of our budget and was realistic and patient with us as we talked through multiple different scenarios. Our wedding had many different colors at play with multi-color bridesmaid dresses and so I was nervous about things looking too busy, but with Nancy's guidance, our floral vision came together perfectly and everything complemented each other. She has a real eye for design and what will work together. The boutonnieres, corsages, and bouquets were all stunning and tastefully done. Everything from the chuppah to the...

Nancy and A Schoolhouse Garden were an amazing team to work with for our wedding! Nancy made sure to understand our vision when making her proposal, and was very thorough and clear when discussing any of our designs. She also gave great advice based on her experience throughout our planning process. We were really particular on some parameters for our flowers and greenery, and they executed our vision so well! In particular, we have to recognize the absolutely gorgeous flower arbor that the team created. They put so much effort into it, and it was 100% my perfect wedding vision. Our ceremony was moved under our back-up tent due to rain, and I kept saying that it was okay because I still got ...

Nancy and A Schoolhouse Garden were incredible to work with for our wedding day floral needs. Nancy is a true professional. She made sure to ask in-depth questions to ensure she understood the full vision of our day, and was incredibly thorough and patient when fielding my 1 million questions and putting together our proposal. She was not shy in making suggestions and discussing what was realistic within our budget, and I greatly appreciated that. She is a legend in The Valley, and for good reason. We’d highly recommend A Schoolhouse Garden to anyone in the Vermont area! Thank you to Nancy, Julia, and the rest of the team for all that you do throughout the ENTIRE process, not just the weddi...

Nancy and her team were phenomenal from start to finish. She surprised me with her level of service throughout the entire process. Firstly, she's obviously an expert in her field and was extremely helpful in developing our vision for florals for our wedding. She guided me towards some decisions based on her knowledge and experience, which made the process much smoother. Not only that, but after our long covid delay, she let me entirely change the vision and then somehow absolutely nailed the aesthetic after just a single phone call! Two giant bonuses that demonstrate the level of service Nancy and her team provide: First, Julia coordinated with the bridal party in order to affix boutonnieres...
