Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We were doing a little skiing and making our way North to grab our college kid for break. Ends up this was a wonderful place to stay in VT. Great vibe for people like us who love inns. Also, their restaurant is a must! Rooms are super quaint as one expects or hopes for in an in. Will look to stay again if making the same route in VT.

The hosts were very kind and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent, served in the barn. The location was central for our vacation destinations, so it was very convenient. Loved staying in this historic home.

Sean and his wife run a lovely B&B with a delicious breakfast in the barn where they have weddings and events . We chatted with Sean at breakfast and appreciated the attention he pays to all aspects of the inn. The rooms are small and close to one another on the 2nd floor but this is just an observation, not a criticism. But thar is not uncommon in lots of B&Bs.

We had a beautiful stay at the 1824 house. Sean greeted us at our arrival and was so helpful and kind. It's such a beautiful space, great for those who love to ski or enjoy a craft beer and community at Lawsons finest right down the street. We will definitely visit again next time we are in the area!
