Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a catering partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We are so happy we chose 111 Maine for our wedding catering company. They were absolutely outstanding from start to finish. We had so much fun working with Ian and his team throughout the planning process, including a wonderful tasting experience. At the wedding, the food was all beautifully presented and delicious, with so many guests have told us this is the best wedding food they have ever had. The staff was professional, attentive, and seamless throughout the entire event, ensuring everything ran smoothly without us having to worry about a thing. The bar service was equally excellent, with fast, friendly bartenders and great drink options that kept the celebration going all night. We are...

My husband and I really care about food and how it is sourced so we knew we had to work with the best of the best for our wedding. Ian and his team brought our dream of recreating a farmers market for our reception to life-he truly understood our vision and executed it flawlessly. All of our guests are still talking about how excellent the food was!! On top of that, our guests kept saying how wonderful the entire staff was. We can’t recommend 111 Maine enough!!

We are so glad we went with 111 Maine for our August 2025 wedding, and we never get tired of hearing "best wedding food I've ever had" from our guests - which we've heard a lot! Beyond the food, which speaks for itself, our guests also raved about how fun, thoughtful, and engaging the whole 111 Maine staff was. Several people had anecdotes of how someone working added to their evening in a fun way, and we are incredibly grateful that the 111 Maine team helped create such a delicious and joyful experience.

Corbin and the team were fabulous at our event at the Barn at Walnut Hill! The family style food service was a huge hit with guests talking about how it was the best wedding food they have ever had! People loved the cod, mushroom ravioli and the Zucchini Fritter aps! We can’s say enough about Corbin and the team’s service that day!

We worked with 111 Maine for our wedding at Flanagan Farms and they had without a doubt the best food. Our guests raved about the signature cocktails, maple butter and homemade bread, and family style dinner (beef, chicken, cod, ravioli, carrots) — all seasoned and plated beautifully. Ian was fantastic to work with and we highly recommend them!
